Magic of Music and Dance Camp 

July 19 - 23, 2010

Who:  Children ages 6 and up with any disability

Where:  Snowmass Village, with daily travel throughout the Roaring Fork Valley for outdoor activities 

Cost:  $700

This week-long day camp provides children with disabilities the opportunity to release their creative spirits and express themselves through dance, movement, singing and acting. 

Participants create and rehearse a full stage production with dialogue, songs, costumes and set designs. Afternoon activities include gymnastics, whitewater rafting and a family BBQ. The camp culminates with a magical performance of the production for the local community. Lunch is provided each day.

Schedule (subject to change):

Monday:  Registration, music and dance rehearsal, then lunch and swimming at the Snowmass Recreation Center

Tuesday:  Music and dance rehearsal and a Western-style family BBQ

Wednesday:  Music and dance rehearsal, then lunch and whitewater rafting

Thursday:  Music and dance dress rehearsal

Friday:  Performance for the local community followed by a celebratory picnic
